Fundraising Bullseye

AEsculapius Lodge members took part in a second charity shoot day at Bisley this summer. The day followed the format of our previous shoot in 2017, with an afternoon on the range (in delightfully hot weather) firing a variety of rifles, followed by a 3-course meal.

The shooting was enjoyed by all, especially the winner of our friendly competition who at the time was yet to be initiated into the Lodge!

Once again the Surrey Rifle Association hosted us for the exquisite fare, and our thanks go to them for providing everything at an extremely affordable rate! Members, guests, prospective initiates and helpers took part in a raffle with prizes ranging from golf balls to a magnum of Champagne.

At the end of proceedings we had raised £490...a good sum for an afternoon! Thanks to all who took part, and especially to those who helped run another successful day.
