AMULL Festival another success
On Saturday 2nd September, Æsculapius members and guests joined others from lodges associated to AMULL at St. Thomas's Hospital for the annual festival. The host lodge - Cheselden - organised a recital by the Chiswell Strings to entertain guests before the annual lecture which was delivered by Dr. James Le Fanu.
Guests then enjoyed a champagne reception on the river balcony before sitting down to an excellent three-course luncheon. One of the key focuses of AMULL is giving students the opportunity to start or continue studies even in times of financial difficulty. This year the AMULL committee provided a grant of £2000 to a deserving student (a non-mason) who was present.
