AMULL Festival 2017

There’s a medical theme underpinning the AMULL Festival this year. The venue is St. Thomas’ Hospital, originally founded circa 1100 and on its present site since 1868. Deep inside the original building is the Governor’s Suite; in 1901 the setting for the consecration of our host Lodge, the Cheselden Lodge.

Guests will arrive in the morning to enjoy socialising and listening to a classical string quartet, provided by graduate students of The Guildhall School of Music. Inter-faith prayers will be led by ex-RAF Chaplain Revd. John Hughes.

The speaker at the festival will be Dr. James Le Fanu, a former student of St. Thomas's who combines medical practice with being the Daily and Sunday Telegraph's medical columnist. Following the talk, the usual champagne reception will be taken on the terrace overlooking the river (weather permitting). Lunch will be last in the day and will be held in the Sheperd's Hall.

This promises to be a fantastic day of fellowship and all members are encouraged to attend if they are free. Further details can be found on the booking form, available here under the "festival" tab.
